It's 887m high and called Gongjaksan (Mt.) because the ridgeline stretched from the top looks like spread feathers of a peacock.

From the top, the whole area of Hongcheon-gun is in view.  The scenery is beautiful and the precipitous bluffs create a magnificent spectacle.  Sutagyegok (Valley), about 8km long from the top to the Nocheon-ri, Sutasa (Temple, which is about 6km below southwest ridgeline, is considered second to none in beautiful views with various rocks.

Royal azaleas in spring, maples and old pines harmonized with the precipitous  bluffs in fall catch the visitors' eyes and the winter mountain covered with snow also fascinate mountain lovers.
