Duryunsan is abundant with temples, relics and tourist attractions with outstanding natural views. It is 703m high above sea level and located at the southern end of Korean peninsula. It is made up of forests with subtropical evergreen broad-leaved trees and temperate deciduous broad-leaved trees. So it is a significant mountain in view of geographical distribution of plants. Eulalias grow rank and on peaks of variable sizes you can look down an archipelago in the West and the South Sea at a glance.
And also, there is Daedunsa (Daeheugnsa, Temple) founded by Adohwasang (Monk) in 514 (the 5th year of Jinheungwang (King) in Shilla). Historically it is deeply related with Seosandaesa (Great Buddhist Priest). 4 national treasures including Pyochungsa (Temple), Dongjong (bronze bell) of Tapsansa (Temple), 1 natural monument and a number of relics are well preserved inside the temple.
