The Cheongoksan (Mt.)'s main peak rises 1,276m above sea level
and big and small minor ridges rise 700~900m. 40 species of
coniferous and broad-leaved trees cover the forests.
Especially the forest stocked with superior Chunyang pines is
the best forest in the country. In addition, lenok, natural
treasure no. 74, only inhabit in fresh water of Baekcheon
Valley. Hyunbulsa (temple), Taebaeksan (Mt.), and the
riverhead of Nakdonggang (River) are some of the must-see
spots.
