Cheongtaesan (Mt.) with a peak at 1,200m above sea-level is
covered with natural and plantation forests. These thick
forests are experiment forests of national forest
management. Deer, boars, rabbits, and other wild
animals and plants inhabit the forest so they seem like a
natural museum. It is located right outside the highway and
many summer vacationers to the east coast stop by. Other
popular tourist spots like Chiaksan, Odaesan, and Seongwoo Ski
Resort are in the vicinity. Those who have experienced forest
bath in the thick Korean pine forests are so mesmerized by
their splendor that they come back for more.
