It is the first natural recreation forest in Korea. It
was created in 1988 at the foot of Daekwaollyeong
(Ridge). It is made up of a great combination of dense
pine forests, clean valleys, and rocks. Some of the pine
forests are 50-200 years old in the recreation forest.
They were created by sowing pine seeds between 1922 and 1926
and they are of great academic value. In particular, a forest
training camp beyond a pine hill is equipped with classrooms,
accomodations, a turf square, and physical training
facilities. It is suitable for training youths. In
addition, it offers a range of uncommon things to watch,
including a forest experience trail for self-learning, a
wildflower garden, thatch-roofed houses, water mills, and
charcoal iron pots.
